Login to Modem – make sure Online, WAN/DSL & Mobile Signal is Green. If the firmware version is lower than 18.1.c speak to Telstra for forced update to the highest version. 


Please take a backup of your modem configuration prior to making any changes. 

 

Once logged in to the modem locate the Advanced menu 


Advanced – WAN services – UPNP Enabled, NAT-PMP Enable, Secure Mode Enabled and Datamodel version 1 

 

Advanced - Mobile – Configuration - make sure Enabled,  Interface needs to have  – WWAN Telstra.internet 

 

Advanced -Mobile Diagnostics – Check for signal bars on the top right side, check the service status - should read as normal service. 

 

 

Advanced – Mobile – Profiles – need to have same as below (note PDP Type needs to be IPV4V6)

 

Advanced – Local network – LAN- Make sure IPv4 Primary DNS and IPv6 Primary DNS match below.  

 

Advanced – Modem – shows the tested versions same as front page. Use this to confirm with Telstra.  

 

These settings are what have been tested in our Sydney Office using NBN service. This article is only a guide and Bosch does not take responsibility for any damage or loss of business due to Modem setting changes or user errors. 



Critical Step to follow: 


Once completed ensure In A-Link Plus the IPv6 mode is enabled for the B426-M IP module. 


Link --> Upload from control panel (must do for a backup) 


Control Panel Configuration --> Network Module Programming --> Module 1# --> Basic Network Settings --> IPV6 Mode = Enable --> Link and download to control panel.

 

Future release of Solution 2000/3000 firmware will have IPv6 switched on by default (FW:2.1 and above)
