Notification Setup for RSC+ for Android and IOS Devices

The following is where and how to setup what notifications would be received when events occur on a S2000 or S3000 panel that is setup to use an B426-M or B450-M and B443 to report via RSC+ App

Always ensure the device being used has the latest version of RSC+ App installed from App Store or Google Play

Latest versions are Version 1.5.0 (96) for Android and Version 1.4.1 (149) for iOS.

Once the App is installed and a Panel Account is created you need to ensure all the notifications required are activated

By default only ALARMS is selected.

Within the User's Phone there are all notification settings that must be checked to ensure they are active as required.

Enter the Phone's SETTINGS  then select NOTIFICATIONS.

You should be able to find the RSC+ App and then check how the phone will respond.

Note that Android allows you to pick an alternate notification sound     IOS does NOT 

Note that the Banner (or on screen notification) for IOS will only be on the screen momentarily by default

You need to change the banner setting to be PERSISTENT for notifications to remain on screen until you action them.
