Controlling Roller Door from RSC+ App and RF Keyfob using Outputs on Solution 3000 Control Panel.

Modified on Thu, 13 May, 2021 at 1:42 PM

We can control a Garage Door using an RF Fob or using the RSC+ App but to do so each operation must be done by an individual Output on the system.

Note:

Outputs 1 -3 on system are Supervised Electronic Outputs

Output 4 (on Board Relay) is switchable by bridging link or can be Dry Contact

We can use Outputs on the panel

We can use Outputs on up to 2 x B308 Output Expander boards

Each has 8 x Dry Contact outputs that can be programmed to any Output Event type.

The Outputs on an B308 Expander are DRY CONTACT

They do NOT provide VOLTAGE or GND.

Each Output would need to be programmed for its specific operation and then both outputs connected to the contacts on the Roller Door Controller Motor.

Below is an example:

The Output for the RF Keyfob would be programmed as either:

2   11        Radio Control  Output  1

2   12       Radio Control  Output  2

With RSC+ we have a number of different event types to control Outputs:

The Output programming would also need to include the POLARITY (how it is switched) and TIMEFRAME (how long) it will be operated when selected in the App.

Refer to Quick Start Guide or Installation Manual for further programming information.
