If you are getting an error stating "Could Not Login to Server" upon trying to install the Solution Link Database Server; there are three steps to check before trying again. 

Additionally ensure that you are running the program as an administrator, this can be done by right clicking on the Solution Link Installer and selecting "Run as Administrator"



1. Ensure your computer is running the latest version of Windows


Click the Windows Start Button > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.



Upon entering this Windows Update Settings Page your computer will check for the latest windows. If there is a new update available, download and install the update and check the other two steps in this guide.


If this scan takes more than a couple minutes, or fails; download the Windows Update Assistant. This program will force a windows update to the latest version of windows available.

2. Ensure the SQL Service is running correctly

3. Manually create the folders needed for the Database Server Installation
