If you get INI missing or the any of the below images follow the steps below.




Make sure you have hidden files and folders switched on.


Windows 10 

  1. In the search box on the taskbar, type folder, and then select Show hidden files and folders from the search results.
  2. Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select OK.

Windows 8.1 

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, then select Search (or if you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then select Search).
  2. Type folder in the search box, then select Folder Options from the search results.
  3. Select the View tab.
  4. Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select OK.

Windows 7 

  1. Select the Start button, then select Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization.
  2. Select Folder Options, then select the View tab.
  3. Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select OK.



Once you have enabled the hidden folders you need to check the following locations:


Open your File explorer


Open the C:// drive


Navigate to the Users folder      


Click on your PC login name



Find the hidden folder called AppData within the Users folder

(The Icon will look different to all other folders)



Once in the AppData folder click on Roaming



In the Roaming folder check to see if there is a folder called "Bosch"


If you do not see "Bosch" you will need to create one by following the steps below. 


Right-click on the folder go to New --> Folder



Rename the folder to Bosch


Open the Bosch folder and create another new folder within the Bosch folder



Name the new folder "Solution Link"


Once you have created the Solution Link folder you can close the file explorer.


This is the breakdown of the folders


Make sure you restart the PC/Laptop once you have completed the above steps. 

Once you are back into Windows you will be able to open Solution Link.
