SQL not running for Solution Link or Site Manager

Modified on Wed, 28 Mar, 2018 at 11:03 AM

Windows 10 does not start certain SQL services that are set to automatic.

You need to start the service manually after startup.

Search for ‘services.msc’, when the application appears click on it.

Search for SQL Server (VISIONLINK)

Right mouse click on the service and click ‘Start’

Optionally you can double click on the service, go to ‘Startup type:’ and select ‘Automatic (Delayed Start)’ from the options.
