Modem Connect to 6000 using Solutionlink

As phone lines are now obsolete it is not common to do this but similar programming is done to use a Permaconn/ Multicom or similar.


Certain settings must be set in panel and Solutionlink software and must match .



In Solutionlink:


When you first log in 


Select  Tools and then Preferences

On Communication Tab

Must set Modem PORT /and Modem Initialisation command string



Save settings


Exit and go to Customers

Select the panel profile


On the Connection Tab  set the Modem Panel Phone number and Modem Baud Rate



Save changes


Under Comms Tab.


The following must match what is in the panel.

  • If they do not connection will not occur


Save Settings   

You should now be able to connect to the panel using the modem.
