Currently there are 16 Video Analytics events offered.


This task generates an alarm event if an object crosses one or more virtual lines

Each line can consist up to 15 segments

Usage:

  • Car in Wrong way with directional lines in tunnels or parking
  • People entering through an exit door in airport or company premises

This task generates an alarm event if an object moves within a certain area. The area is defined by a field in the camera image.

Usage:

  • Perimeter protection
  • Intrusion detection
  • Dangerous areas

This task generates an alarm event if an object leaves an area. The area is highlighted by a field in the camera image.

This task generates an alarm event if an object enters an area. The area is highlighted by a field in the camera image.

 

This task generates an alarm event if an object only moves slightly within a certain area for a specified period.

Usage:

  • Loitering object detection during evening or night time at the harbour
  • Loitering notification of persons walking around at the parking lot
  • Loitering detection during closure time

 

 

This task generates an alarm event if an object moves along a certain route. A route is surrounded by a virtual tolerance area. This task can be used for Intelligent Tracking.

 

This task generates an alarm event if an object is detected as idle or inserted in a certain area (for example, a piece of luggage without an owner). The area is highlighted by a field in the camera image.

Usage:

  • Idle object detection at an intersection.

 

This task generates an alarm event if an object is detected as removed in a certain area (for example, due to theft). The area is defined by a field in the camera image.

Usage:

  • A painting being removed from an art gallery
  • A sculpture being removed from a park.

 

This task generates an alarm event if one of the following properties changes for a detected object within a specified time span: size, aspect ratio, speed, direction.

 

This task generates an alarm event if an object is detected that is similar to a previously marked object.

Usage:

  • While using forensic search, to be able to identify multiple object that have the same proprieties.

 

This task generates an alarm event if it must be assumed that the video source (camera) has been tampered with. Here, you can only activate the filter for the relevant events. You cannot alter the settings for tamper detection.

Note: this task is not available for VOT-320V.

 

This task generates an alarm event if a number of objects are located within a certain area. The area is defined by a crowd field in the camera image.

Usage:

  • Crowd detection at the bank counters
  • Crowd detection in front of an emergency exit

 

Count all objects crossing a specified line

Usage:

  • Determine conversion rates in shops. Requires 3rd party integration
  • Counting people passing through a gate
  • Count vehicles for traffic monitoring

This task generates an alarm event if a certain number of objects are inside a field. In addition, this task sets up a counter with the current number of objects in the field.

Usage:

  • Parking lot occupancy tracker

 

This task generates an alarm event if a flow (overall movement) is detected within a certain area. The area is defined by a field in the camera image.

Usage:

  • Flow detection in a restricted area

 

This task generates an alarm event if a flow moving against a detected overall movement (main flow) is detected within a certain area. This means that an overall, potentially changing, movement is detected, and only flows that go against this direction of movement trigger the alarm.

  • Entering in a debarking area
  • Going down on an up escalator
