ONVIF Profile S recording in BVMS & DIVAR DIP’s (3000 & 7000)

Purpose

As standards improve towards having interoperability between Onvif S devices and VMS systems, there are many manufacturers that are implementing the standards in a different way.

Bosch VMS system attempts to accurately implement ONVIF compatible devices into its system, however, this does not always work as some manufacturers have very poor implementations of their cameras/encoders/firmware, hence settings may need to be customised.

Scope & Applicability

This process/procedure is applicable for Security CCTV Installers and/or IT Administrators. It is expected that there is some base level knowledge of the Bosch VMS, or Bosch VRM technologies.

This VSG Setup can be applied to BVMS, DIVAR IP 3000 and 7000 series products.

Check datasheets for limitations of these devices, as well as Camera/Encoder manufacturers’ advice on implementation as an ONVIF S camera.
